The torque specification for the inner tie rods has been increased by 50%. Commercially available tools also do not fit this application. CH-49009 is required to properly install and tighten the inner tie rod locking nut. Attempts to tighten the inner tie rod locking nut without CH-49009 may result in component damage and/or increased labor time.
