CH-49750 is required to service the rear suspension knuckle shock absorber bushing. Conventional tools can not install the bushing. CH-49750 is assembled to the rear suspension knuckle in conjunction with the new service bushing. The forcing screw is used to drive the new service bushing into position. Use of a lubricant to ease installation and ensure proper retention of the bushing may be required. Refer to the appropriate GM Service Information for the detailed service procedure.
