For GM / General Motors. The DT-48616 Test Plate and Pressure Gauge attach to the Control Solenoid Valve Body Assembly on the 6T40 transaxle and allow air to be charged into the solenoid ports. The DT-48616-10 Jumper Harness included in the assembly kit is connected to the transmission electrical harness and to the Control Solenoid connector. The Tech 2 is then used to systematically actuate each solenoid and check for an air pressure reading on the gauge to determine if all solenoids are operating correctly.
