For GM / General Motors. The input shaft seal on the RDM used in Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX, and Saab 9-4X AWD vehicles is recessed in its bore in the Torque Transfer Device (TTD) housing. The pinion shaft also protrudes through the seal to place the flange above the TTD housing. To install, the new seal is placed onto the pilot of DT-49065, which is struck with a mallet to install the seal squarely into the housing bore.
