For GM / General Motors. The 5th/6th synchro hub is press-fit onto the main shaft, with no clearance under the hub. DT-49139 engages the hub in the detent slots, and is used with J-6125-1B Slide Hammer to remove the hub from the shaft. The hub will be removed easily if DT-49139 and J-6125-1B are used in each of the three detent reliefs in turn.
