For GM / General Motors. Some of the shift rail bearings and bushingsare in a blind hole, and difficult to access. DT-49216 is installed into the bushing or bearing, and tightened against the inside of the bearing case. Previously Essential J-45124 Puller Bridge is installed into DT-49216, and used to remove the bearing. In some applications, J-45124-9 Puller Legs may be required for clearance.
