DT-49907 is a double-sided tool, used to install the side bearing onto the differential case on 218 mm ring gear RDMs, and to install the inner pinion bearing cup into the RDM housing on 195 mm ring gear models. Both sides are used with previously Essential J-8092 Driver Handle to seat the bearing or cup. The side bearing is centered over the differential case trunion as it installed, and the cup must be installed without any contact to the bearing surface.
