Kent-Moore DT-51976 FDU Output Seal Installer

Application: 2016-current Cadillac CTS AWD front axle (FDU)

The left and right CT6 Front Drive Unit (FDU) output seals are installed to a specific dimension, and this dimension is different on the left compared to the right side. DT-51976 is a double-ended installer, which installs both seals to the correct engineering specified positions. Once the seal has been removed, and the case cleaned, J-8092 driver handle is installed onto DT-51976, and the seal placed onto the other end of DT-51976. The seal is then installed using a mallet against J-8092. Failure to use DT-51976 may result in an incorrect placement of the seal, and less than designed seal life.
