Kent-Moore DT-52089 Wiring Harness Connector Remover

DT-52089 removes the wiring harness connector from the transmission case. This connector is the interface point for the powertrain harness and the transmission hydraulic control module. When being removed, it must be handled carefully to avoid breaking the four locking tangs on the connector.

DT-52089 is a two-piece tool consisting of a compressor and a driver. The compressor slides over the connector to depress the four tangs simultaneously as the driver pushes the connector out of the case. The tool allows reuse and re-installation of the connector and maintains the integrity of the electrical connections with a leak-free seal.
