EL-51865 supports the battery pack after its removal from the vehicle either for either service or complete exchange when a new pack is installed. The raised blocks on the fixture locate the pack and contact the bottom of the tray in specific areas to avoid damage to the battery lower structure, connectors and electronic components attached under the tray.
