Kent-Moore Tools Kent-Moore EN-47823 Adapter Bolt, Valve Spring Compressor For GM / General Motors. The rocker arms on LZ engine cylinder heads are pedestal mounted, and the valves are angled away from each other on each cylinder. Each valve spring has an oscillation damper underneath and around its outside diameter. Once the rocker and pedestal are removed, the valve can be compressed using EN-47823 and previously Essential J-5892-D Valve Spring Compressor. EN-47823 threads into the head, and provides a reaction surface for J-5892-D. Unapproved compression methods will damage the oscillation damper. Email for availability.
