During unit repair of the TR6060 manual transmission, many bearings, synchronizer hubs, and gears must be pressed onto either the main shaft or the counter shaft over a great deal of the shaft length. J-39441 is used to install the components squarely over either shaft by itself up to 195 mm (11.7�), and is used with J-39441-10 (additional 95 mm/3.75�) and J-39441-20 (additional 172 mm/6.75�) to position components where required over the entire length of either shaft. J-39441 also includes hardware to allow it to install components without the use of a press, by threading into the end of the shaft being serviced, and drawing components into place.
