For General Motors. ALL TIILT WHEEL The spring which separates the two halves on the centering sphere on 1996 tilt-wheel columns has been changed. The spring must now be preloaded prior to being installed on the upper steering shaft. This tool holds the lower half of the centering sphere while the upper half is rotated thus winding the spring. With the two sphere halves in there proper position, the sphere can then be installed into upper steering shaft. Used with: Vise
