For General Motors. 8.1L DIESEL
Year 2001 C/K truck, G-van, Med Duty, C3500HD J-42847 is used to hold the flywheel stationary during removal of the hub bolt. The bolt is removed in order to service the pulley assembly. This tool is designed to accommodate different diameter flywheels used in the L18 Mark 8.1 liter engine application. Place J-42846 in the location where the starter motor normally mounts, secure tool in position via the bolts supplied with the tool.
