Over tightening the nut affects return ability of the steering wheel. Previously the locknut was installed using a drift. The tool must allow access to hold the adjuster nut using J-42882 while torquing the locknut to 80 ft lbs. First torque the adjuster nut using J-42882. Then use J-43435 to torque the locknut to 80 ft lbs. while holding the adjuster nut using J-42882.
