Kent-Moore J-44246 GM Solenoid Testing Kit DT-44246
Applications: H2, 1993- Current Cars, 1994-Current Trucks
This will provide a fast and efficient form of testing the electronic shift solenoid. First remove the shift solenoid from the housing and place the solenoid into the fixture and apply shop air. The technician should then apply 12 volts and a ground to the shift solenoid to activate it. If an air leak is detected the solenoid is defective.
