Kent-Moore Tools Kent-Moore J-44376 Pusher / Puller, Bearing For General Motors. F23 5 Speed J/N Cars. Used with J-44375 Assembly Pallet to remove and install the input shaft and output shaft and output shaft bearings. To remove the bearings, J-44376-1 base assembly is bolted to the transaxle case, and two J-44376-2 pilots are placed between the base and the input shafts. The two J-44376-3 forcing screws are tightened against the pilots, and turned down equally to push the shafts out of the bearings. To install the input and output shafts into the bearings, the forcing screws, with included nuts and thrust bearings, are threaded into the ends of the shafts, and the nuts are tightened against the thrust bearings, which ride against the shaft bearings. Both forcing screws are held, while the nuts are tightened, drawing the input and output shafts into the bearings. Email for product availability.
