The purpose for the gas cap adapter is to allow easy connection of the Evaporative Emissions System Tester to the vehicle. This adapter will replace the tank filler neck side of the GE-41415-50, which will update it to a GE-41415-50A. This is a retrofit for GE-41415-50 and is required because it will not fit on the 2005 Vibe due to the steep angle between the body panel and filler neck.
