For GM / General Motors. This tool is needed to compress (swage) the clamp used on the Cadillac Limo drive shafts to the needed 37.80/38.00 mm of compression. This tool will be similar to DT-47732. The lower portion of DT-48267 is secured in a vise and the wheel drive shaft assembly is placed into it. The upper portion of DT-48267 is tightened per existing service information over the boot clamp. Failure to use DT-48267 will result in improper clamping and premature clamp or boot failure.
