Kent-Moore DT-50985 IDS Excluder Seal Installer

DT 50985 is used to install the new design Intermediate Drive Shaft (IDS) flange seal. The new design seal protects the Intermediate Drive Shaft (IDS) bearing and fluid seal from dirt and debris for all AWD Global Gamma SUV vehicles. The seal is installed into IDS shaft retaining flange. The seal is a two-piece cassette type design that requires a press force to both the ID and OD areas of the seal assembly. The seal is also to be installed 2.0 mm below flush within the flange. Unapproved installation methods will damage the seal.
